Phase 2
Phase 2 of this project began in September 2022 and includes:
- review of community input from Phase 1 to solidify a vision, guiding principles, and general policies for the plan; and
- continued analysis of nine designated properties within the Treaty Settlement Lands, including mapping potential land use opportunities for each of these lands.
Community engagement opportunities in this phase will include a survey and land tours.
Phase 1 Engagement Results
During the first phase of engagement on the Kitselas Land Use Plan, Kitselas Members attended workshops (in April 2022) and 85 people responded to a survey.
Input was gathered on a vision, guiding principles and land use directions for all Kitselas Lands.
